Red Bench Speaker Series

The Red Bench Speaker Series is an opportunity to hear from the experts about a topic of interest from the world of skiing and snowboarding. One month it may be snowboarding in the Olympics, the next backcountry skiing access and the next snowmaking. Generally held once a month on a Thursday evening. We have a mix of both in-person and virtual events.

Event admission is $10* however virtual events are complimentary with an encouraged $10 donation from each guest. *Select events may have an increased ticket cost. The funds raised from these discussions help us continue to bring you these and other events, and most importantly, helps support the Museum’s mission to “Collect, Preserve, and Celebrate Vermont’s Rich Skiing and Snowboarding History.”

Why the Red Bench? The Red Bench is the actual bench that spent years around the fireplace in the Octagon Lodge at the top of Stowe. Today the bench sits on the first floor of the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum and continues its role as a gathering point for skiers and snowboarders.

You can watch past events BELow or on our YouTube channel here along with other VTSSM Content.
